Our Profile Story

In South Africa, as well, over the past 15 years Phoenix Care Foundation has established itself as a trustworthy, dependable Non- Profit Organisation (NPO) that supports the underprivileged in Phoenix and different part of South Africa, when it comes to winter projects, ramadhaan feeding, disaster relief, we can point to many successors. One of the key focus points of Phoenix Care Foundation is to inspire the act of giving, when you think about it, the whole concept is that we want people to understand that it is important to empower the next generation, to develop leadership, to develop young people and to develop their thinking and their mindset for a world that didn’t exist 30 years ago, back then the world was a different place but now we have to adapt to the changing times and the changing landscape around us, grow, change and develop, the youth that we are working with currently are going to be experiencing a very different world in another few years from now, therefore we need to be thinking about that, in preparing the youth for a world 30 years from now.

Phoenix Care Foundation vigorously strives towards, achieving maximum productivity, service excellence and achieving the most professional results, for our donors and those in need, primarily for the sake and progress of Islam in Phoenix and different parts of South Africa.
The Phoenix Care Foundation diligently pursues this vision and mission in Phoenix and different parts of South Africa by providing relief in respect of food to the most starving and hungry; water to the most thirsty; shelter to the most destitute; medical care to the most sick; education to the most needy and moreover, establishing poverty relief developmental projects towards ultimate self sufficiency, and thereby, with the Help of Allah (SWT) restoring the dignity, respect and honour of our fellow Muslims throughout South Africa.
There are thousands of underprivileged individuals in Phoenix looking for employment opportunities for a better and secured future. Phoenix Care Foundation is an NGO that works towards their skill development and helps them develop the right mindset which is required to get decent jobs. It provides a platform where financially challenged and specially-abled individuals have the opportunity to learn and uplift their lives.
Right training and skill development can help underprivileged individuals to get decent jobs and sustain high growth momentum. Understanding its importance, Phoenix Care Foundation offers a skill development program to provide free-of-cost training to such individuals. Besides, we also help individuals to generate business ideas, encouraging them towards entrepreneurship.
We seek your help through donations for the skill development of these individuals and transform them into confident skilled workers and entrepreneurs.

Our Mission
Our aim is to provide children at risk with an environment that is stimulating, motivating and equip them with skills to become self-sufficient and positive leaders in the future.
We regard empowerment as the key to social and emotional well-being and development of children. This will enable them to have a sense of pride and dignity. Our challenges are securing a warm and loving family for our children and equipping them with skills.
Our Vision
The primary vision of the Phoenix Care Foundation is to uplift the standard of life, morality and education of the most deserving and needy in Phoenix and different parts of South Africa.
To protect, investigate and provide care to people in need, including neglect, abuse, abandonment, orphan-hood, children affected / infected by HIV and AIDS, and children who have been living on the street. To establish, maintain and conduct places of care, incorporating therapeutic programmes. To promote wider community participation in child and family welfare services.
Partnering to build a world where all children are safe and secure
The Phoenix Care Foundation was established 2008 with Co-founders Haroon Yusuph and Yunus Karim with a combination of experience just over 30 years in Welfare and 40 years Islamic activist, they both found a need to uplift the community self-help was rooted in the extended family system which served as the safety net for the unemployed, orphaned and aged, also providing comfort and counsel in times of family dysfunction was evident in overcrowded housing conditions, poverty and low subsistence levels, high infant and maternal mortality rates, high birth rates and large family size, high incidence of disease and widespread illiteracy.
It was these conditions that prompted the formation of the organization which became synonymous with welfare in the Phoenix community.
